We currently have an exciting opportunity for the Education Consultant who is responsible for student recruitment and education sales to facilitate admission of onshore international students in registered training organisations of their choice. This role is accountable for lead generation in the education department by ensuring excellent customer service along with an expertise in Australian academic courses and student visa requirements. Roles/responsibilities:

  • Effectively counsel international students to facilitate their admission in registered training organizations, keeping in mind their student visa requirements
  • Provide up to date information about courses offered by partner entities to ensure a student’s successful course change and enrolment
  • Create and maintain accurate client information such as enquiry notes, file notes, admission entries, offer letters, CoEs and follow-ups in the organisation’s CRM system
  • Build a strong referral pipeline and increase client retention by ensuring good after sale service engagement and encouraging service feedback via Google Reviews and social media reviews
  • Maintain a quick and consistent Turn Around Time (TAT) in terms of responding to clients, updating CRM data and generating reports
  • Accurately maintain students’ prospects – number of leads, number of probable prospects, number of confirmed prospects in the Operations Manager’s lead or application tracker sheet
  • Create and submit timely admission reports to the manager in order to aid smooth processing of monthly incentives
  • Partake in the organisation’s training and assessment activities as and when directed
  • Build content, participate in marketing activities and engage the client base on the organisation’s social media handles such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and LinkedIn as and when directed by the manage

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Understand a client’s visa history, current requirement and offer the right solutions and support accordingly
  • Provide accurate and timely migration advice and assistance across a variety of visa sub-classes such as student visas, GSM, Partner visas, Visitor visas, TSS, ENS, RSMS, and MRT cases
  • Prepare and lodge precise visa applications with the Department of Home Affairs (DoHA)
    Liaise with the DoHA and related stakeholders including skill assessment authorities
  • Continuously expand and maintain knowledge base of migration legislation and policies
  • Create and preserve the client base and relationships by participating in existing business development activities
  • Maintain integrity, ethics and honesty and ensure compliance with the stipulated rules to preserve the integrity of the profession and the governing/regulatory body.   • Be responsible for reviewing the information and documents provided by the client and ensure it is accurate and in line with the legal requirements

  • Evaluate immigration cases objectively and honestly as well as convey and explain the information in a comprehensible/logical manner, ensuring that the client has a clear picture of their case and further plan of action
  • Be accountable for all visa issues and operations in the business and remain up to date with any changes to legislation
  • Create and maintain accurate client information such as enquiry notes, file notes, fees and follow-ups in the organisation’s CRM system
